About Blade Motorcycles

Formerly known as Bike Rehab, Blade Motorcycles was founded in 2009 when a kid obsessed with motorbikes started charging for all the tinkering around he’d been doing.

That obsession has grown into a lifelong passion, now with the technical skills, training and experience – more than 15 years worth – to make James Steyl an expert in his field.

This, coupled with painstaking meticulousness, means quality workmanship is assured.

James holds a Motor Electrical Trade qualification, but continues to learn, adding certifications like completing an Accelerated Artisan Training program which he was invited to based off his skills.

James moved his business to New Zealand in 2016, where he’s built strong relationship with suppliers and industry leaders, helping him further hone his skills and make sure every machine he touches looks and performs as well as it can.
